Burnt Ash School Summer Fair
The Cubs, Scouts and their leaders basked in the glorious sunshine today as they helped out at the Burnt Ash Primary Summer Fair. Burnt Ash is our temporary home while our new home is being built by St Andrew’s Church, so the group are happy to lend a hand to help raise money for the school as well as our profile in the local community.
This is the second year that the group has helped out at the event. The Cubs and Scouts had a great day running the stalls and meeting everyone who came along to take part. The day however was topped off by meeting and getting a picture with the mayor!
Next week is the St Andrews church community day at Kings Meadows, let’s hope there is just as much good weather and fun for that event as well.
