St George’s Day Parade 2014
Members from all sections of the 25th today attended the 3rd Bromley District St Georges Day Parade since the merge of the heritage Bromley borough districts making us the biggest district in the country. This is the annual event where every group from the district come together to celebrate the achievements of all members of the district including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and adult members.
This event is also the time when every member renews his or her promise which we all take when joining the movement. Every member of the group who attended turned out impeccably and enjoyed the ceremony with parents also spectating.
We had the honour of being re-presented with the Bothamley Cup trophy for lifesaving during the parade to recognise the achievement of one Scout in the group.
